Mehdi Tayoubi is Strategy and Innovation Vice-President at Dassault Systèmes and President of the non-profit organization Heritage Innovation Preservation Institute ( He started his career as internet consultant and cofounded, in 1998, UltraOrange a web agency specialised in 3D and cultural content. He joined Dassault Systèmes in 2001 as online marketing and communication director. In 2006 he was appointed as Digital Strategy director and created new online e-commerce and e-business services and plateforms. His team launched in 2007 the first online plateform dedicated to 3D content publishing and sharing ( which has been integrated to 3DVia brand at Dassault Systèmes. Pioneer in experiential strategies, he created, in 2005, in addition to his digital activities, the Passion for Innovation multidisciplinary co-innovation department in order de co-produce projects at the crossroads of art, science and technology. Those cultural projects relying on new digital technology (simulation, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, ...) allowedhim to invent new innovation methodologies in the fields of digital usages and brand awarenessstrategy. He significantly extended Dassault Systèmes'audiences and open innovation ecosystems. He coproduced several international transmedia projects (International TV documentaries, immersive and interactive shows, augmented books, immersive displays for exhibitions, online 3D experiences, ...). He cofounded in 2015 HIP Institute dedicated to transdisciplinary and engineering collaboration for heritage. HIP is actually co-leading the ScanPyramids mission aiming to explore the EgyptianPyramids.

He co-createdKhufuRevealed and KhufuRebornwith the architect Jean-Pierre Houdin at la Geode, Mr. & Ms Dreamwith the Pietragalla dance company, Interactive musical Game at Futuroscope, Paris in the past at the city hall of Paris. He led several archeological and historical projects with French Ministry of Culture, Harvard, Boston Fine Art Museum, Leeds and Sorbonne Universities: They invented D-Day, King Sun Shipwreck, Cordouan Lighthouse, Giza 3D, Djedi exploration robot. He collaborated also with the artists Luc Besson (Imagine the movie theater of the future), Enki Bilal (Mecanhumanimal) and François Schuiten (La douce, Revoir Paris).
