Liza Donnelly is a cartoonist and writer for The New Yorker Magazine, Forbes, Medium and Huffington Post. Her work has also appeared in The New York Times, Harvard Business Review and Glamour. She is public speaker and travels as a cultural envoy for the US State Department. Donnelly is the author/editor of 15 books, among them Funny Ladies: The New Yorker's Greatest Women Cartoonists and Their Cartoons and Women On Men. Donnelly frequently draws political cartoons about feminism and women’s rights.
She is co-founder of the US chapter of the international cartoonists’ organization FECO. Donnelly’s work has been in many exhibitions globally, and she has curated numerous exhibits of international cartoonists. Donnelly taught at Vassar College and the School of Visual Arts and is a member of PEN and the Authors Guild. She received numerous american and international awards for her work.
